A different look from its well -known bustling image is today, Athens, with the basin having emptied to a large extent, as many have “fled” to pass Easter to their homes and other destinations.

On the streets of the center, most of them are tourists on Holy Saturday, but also Athenians who do their last shopping, mainly in Ermou, Varvakio and the historic center.

According to data from Google maps there is not a single point on the Athens road network facing problems, as all roads are “green” (with “red” and “orange” highlighting the very increased traffic and “yellow” or increased traffic).

It is noted that in Athens there is a lot of sunshine that, in combination with the high temperature – at 24 to 26 degrees – create an almost “summer” landscape.

The weather on Easter Sunday
