Thriller scenes unfolded on Friday morning in Nea Skioni, Halkidiki, when four strangers stormed into a house and beaten a 62 -year -old man who was taken to the hospital.
According to halkidikinews.gr, the robbery occurred around 3am when the perpetrators violated the balcony door, where the victim was staying with his 57 -year -old wife. The 62 -year -old realized the presence of the strangers and attempted to confront them, resulting in hits with punches and metal objects.
The perpetrators, ruthless and organized, stabbed the couple, locked it in the bathroom and investigated the house. After the victim’s car was taken away, they fled in an unknown direction.
The 62 -year -old was preventively taken to a Polygyros hospital, without risking his life. So far, it has not been clarified whether there were accomplices who were waiting outside the house.
Police are conducting an investigation to identify the perpetrators, while a step was found at the site of the Criminal Investigations Office that examined the area for traces and evidence.
