An earthquake of 5.2 on the Richter scale shook western Texas at 20:47 on Saturday (03/05) local time, (04:47 in the early morning in Greece).

Initially, the earthquake was estimated at 6.5 Richter before being revised.

According to the Euro -Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the focal depth was very small, just 10 kilometers and the earthquake was felt within a large radius.

Many locals reported that the vibration lasted several seconds.

Despite the intensity of the earthquake, there have been no immediate reports of damage to buildings or vital infrastructure.
