Uber proudly announces its new partnership with Athens International Airport (AIA), presenting a new Uber pickup point aimed at improving the movement experience for passengers arriving in the Greek capital.
As of May 1, 2025, all passenger receipts through the UBER application to AIA will be made from exit 4 of the arrivals level, replacing the previous points at Exits 1 and 5.
This new partnership is an important milestone for Uber’s action on the Greek market, and in particular in the tourism industry, which is still one of the main pillars of the Greek economy.
The initiative is being implemented at a time when the Athens International Airport records impressive growth. Only in the first quarter of 2025, the airport served 5.8 million passengers, increasing 11.4% compared to the same period in 2024. International passenger traffic recorded a 15% increase, confirming the continuing strengthening of Athens’ position as an international travel destination.
“This strategic cooperation with Athens International Airport is a decisive step in our efforts to upgrade the movement experience for visitors to Greece. Recognizing the importance of comfortable and secure travel throughout the trip, we create a distinct pick -up point, focusing on the reliability and ease of our users as soon as they arrive, “said Sarita Baruh, Uber’s Director General in Greece.
Uber remains the leading movement option for visitors to Athens International Airport, confirming its commitment to providing quality services and innovative urban mobility solutions.
