Within 8 months, a total of 23 churches broke into various areas of Kilkis.
Officers from the Kilkis Crimes Prosecution and Criminal Crimes, resolved the stolen theft of the temples for which a 27 -year -old and a 17 -year -old minor were arrested and a case was filed against four of their accomplices: a 24 -year -old and a 25 -year -old man and a 25 -year -old and two more and two.
The two detainees were identified on the night of May 12 to move by vehicle in the Kilkis area and, as it emerged from the police investigation, a small sum of money had been deducted from a cemetery chapel.
The research revealed that the young people with a different composition each time, since last October, another 14 burglaries in the sacred temples attempted to break 8 others.
A total of 1,700 euros, chalices and an electrical device were removed from the temples. The police investigation is continuing for their involvement in other similar offenses. Those arrested with the case file against them were taken to the Kilkis Public Prosecutor.
