The decision to establish a Technical School at the International University of Greece was published in the Government Gazette (Government Gazette). According to the decision signed by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Economics Athanasios Petralias and Education, Religions and Sports, Nikolaos Papaioannou, the School includes five departments and is based in Serres.
“At the International University of Greece, a Technical School is established, based in Serres, which includes the following departments, in accordance with the provisions of para.
a) Environmental Engineers, based in Thessaloniki.
(b) Engineers of production and administration, based in Thessaloniki.
(c) Mechanical Engineering, based in Serres.
(d) Computer Science, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering, based in Serres.
(e) Informatics and Electronic Systems, based in Thessaloniki, “is specifically defined.
The School of Engineering of the International University of Greece, based in Serres, is rebuilt and includes the Departments: a) Topography and Geoinformatics, based in Serres. (b) Civil Engineering, based in Serres.
The qualifications of the five departments that are part of the Polytechnic School of the International University of Greece, which were granted before their accession to the Polytechnic School and after the completion of a program of ten academic semesters are equal to each other in above polytechnical school.
It is noted that the evolution of the School of Engineering of DIPAE into a Polytechnic School implies benefits for graduates of its departments, who with the possibility of registering with the TEE will obtain increased professional rights.
