Officials of the Home Affairs Service Affairs, arrested a specialist psychiatrist in a public hospital, who systematically trafficking in drugs.

The specialist was arrested yesterday morning in an operation in an Athens area, along with another person, in which he had just delivered a package containing heroin, instead of 10 euros.

The case file against them includes 33 people accused of possession and use of drugs.

How had the business set up

In particular, according to ELAS, the research revealed that the specialist was systematically trafficking in drugs, using houses for this purpose as storage and processing point in the wider area of ​​Piraeus and Athens.

At the same time, he was making drug trafficking mainly in meter stations and ISAP, as well as in squares and courtyards who worked, around the clock, even during working hours in on -call or traffic for ambulance.

Still, it was found that it was also taking Exchange of legally granted medical drug pills prescriptionreceived from users, giving them corresponding amount of heroin.

In fact, it took special protection measures for both its movement and its communications with client users, in which it used various ‘Coded’ wordsso as not to clear the content of the conversations, such as:

During the research conducted at her residence, they found and confiscated:

• 104.84-heroin lines, part of which was ready for sale in improvised packages (Fixes),

• 180 euros,

• 3 precision scales,

• Materials for sharing drugs (plastic card, plastic spatula, hand cut, hammer and tile piece),

• mobile phone,

• 3 straws with drug residues,

• 3 drug pills,

• Black stamp and identity of a medical association member, in its name, and

• Package package of mobile phone connection.

As noted in the announcement of ELAS, the defendant, from 18-03-2025 to 27-05-2025, carried out at least 195 drugs and pill trafficking operations.

The detainees were taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
