Fearful employees were locked in their offices when they saw the sharp object – the man was taken to the hospital and is out of danger
Panic prevailed on Friday morning at the welfare offices in Agrinio when a man cut his veins.
According to Sinidisi.gr, the 47 -year -old man entered the Department of Social Protection and Public Health of the Municipality of Agrinio and asked to speak with a specific social worker but was absent.
The situation began to go out of control when he was informed that he would have to visit the service next Monday to return to work.
The employee with whom he talked suggested that he address the director when he observed that his behavior was changing and his intensity was increasing. However, he pulled out a paper cutter, he allegedly had passed in his zone and then caused a stir. Employees in the view of the sharp object ran and locked in their offices.
The same information says that the 47 -year -old then went to the staircase of the building and cut the veins of his hand there. He was called by EKAB and police and was transported by ambulance to Agrinio Hospital. His life is not at risk.
