Since June 15, with the completion of the school year, building workshops are entering 426 schools in the country, located in 245 municipalities across the country. The “Marietta Giannakou” program for upgrading projects in hundreds of public school units of all levels is being implemented.

Projects in most schools are expected to be completed until early September, before the next sanctification, and in some cases their completion is projected by the end of November.

The program also provides for the creation of a disabled ramp

The planning was reportedly finalized during a meeting held yesterday at the Maximus Mansion, under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with the participation of Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christos Dimas, Education Minister Sofia Zacharakis and Minister of Education. The projects will be undertaken by building infrastructure SA, the construction body of the Greek state.

In the first stage, resources will come from a donation of 100 million euros from the four systemic banks, which took place through the Hellenic Bank Association. Further credits will be followed by the Public Investment Program.
