Coordinated Police Operation in Megara, to investigate information on storage and trafficking of weapons, was held yesterday, Monday, June 2, 2025, by the Division of the Commanding and Trading of Humans and goods of the Organized Crime Management.
The operation was implemented with the assistance of two judicial officers and the participation of police forces in the Division of Information and Special Actions, the Directorate of Prosecution and Criminal Crimes against Life and Ownership, the Drug Administration and the Drug Administration and the Directorate of Finance and the Directorate of Finance.

In this context, targeted investigations were carried out in -6- houses and -3 -auxiliary -storage spaces in the above area, while police checks were carried out at a large number of people and vehicles.
Investigations, a 23 -year -old domestic, was arrested, which was charged with violating the law on weapons and the acceptance and disposal of crime products, while a 24 -year -old native is a defendant.
Overall, found and seized:
- firearm gun, with a barrel length of 17 cm
- 3 magazines
- 116 cartridges
- Military -type foam, total length of -28.5 -cm and total blade length of 17 cm,
- 57 golden -colored jewelry (chains and necklaces with pendants, rings, wedding rings, earrings (in pairs), bracelets)
- 8 mobile phones
- Tracking Circuit Tracking Machine and –7- cameras and
- the amount of six hundred -1675 -euro.
The arrested person was taken to the competent prosecutor’s office.
