Filippidis Trial: Two of the three complaining actors will testify in camera

In camera, two of them will testify three actors who have denounced him Petros Filippidis for serious sexual violence against them.

The Mixed Jury Court accepted with its decision the request submitted by the two victims to protect their private life in order to testify in the audience without an audience and journalists. The judges’ decision was unanimous, as, among other things, they considered that this treaty would facilitate the complainants to be able to report in detail the incidents they complain about and answer any questions.

The decision of the judges was not in line with the proposal of the Prosecutor of the Court, who asked not to satisfy the request of the two colleagues of the accused with the basic reasoning that their complaints have already been published. Therefore, as the prosecutor pointed out, there will be no further victimization of them by their testimony in public.

The actor’s defense had made a similar position, asking that the process not be deprived of publicity.
