Taste festival has famous dishes and classes on Friday (20)

Taste, a gastronomic festival present in 11 countries, continues in Villa-Lobos Park in the West region this weekend.

The event brings together 28 São Paulo restaurants and bars, which serve traditional dishes of its menus and an exclusive recipe for the festival.

One of the highlights is Ema, a restaurant by chef Renata Vanzetto, closed since March. It serves classics of the house such as Crazy Crispy Chicken, chuckle chicken bread and pickles, appears in a minimum version ($ 30). Sweet serves a rereading of Romeo and Juliet (R $ 25).

The festival program also features workshops taught by renowned chefs. On Friday, chef Carol Albuquerque, from the gastrobar frester, teaches how to prepare grilled lettuce with cashews sauce, bread crumbs and seed. The class starts at 6:30 pm at Fire Pit.

Then, at 20h, the same space occupies chef Eduardo Prado, who participated in the Masterchef 2021. He shows how to prepare duck with orange and carrot on the embers. Already at 9:30 pm, Lene Mendes and Caio Juliano, from Porky’s, teach Blend of meat, smoking and hamburgers tricks.

In the kitchen chat, Ivan Santinho, chef of La Cura Gastronomia, holds a pasta workshop at 8:30 pm.
