A 42 -year -old alien, a member of a gang active in the trafficking of drugs in the wider Attica region, was arrested after an incidental pursuit in Chaidari
His criminal activity was certified after properly utilizing information and after police actions, verbs and intersections, as well as profiling.
A police operation followed, in which the 42 -year -old was identified by police officers from the DIAS team and the Drug Enforcement Division, moving a vehicle in the Haidari area and transporting more than 23 kg of raw cannabis.
Previously, police, using sound and light signals, had called on the 42 -year -old to park the vehicle for checking. However, according to ELAS, the 42 -year -old developed dizzying speedby violating marking signs, red traffic lights and endangering passing pedestrians and vehicles.
As a result, he lost control of the vehicle by crashing on a tree and another vehicle, while also put forward vigorous resistancerepeating the police officers with his hands and feet. The police, however, managed to stop him and arrest him.
In total, ten improvised nylon packages were found and seized during the investigations, containing 23 kg and 780 grams of raw hemp, a sum of 510 euros, two vehicles and two mobile phones (central photo).
The arrested person, with the case file formed against him, was led to the competent prosecutor’s office.
