Work on the construction of a new wing has begun today at the Larissa General Hospital, as announced by the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis.

Work began with the demolition of buildings housing the pharmacy and warehouses in the General Larissa General.

In particular, 7 additional floors will be built, 84 beds will be added to the existing ones. The project is funded by the Region of Thessaly, with a budget of 14,000,000 euros and a timetable for implementation late 2028.

“Today the pharmacy and warehouses were demolished in Larissa General Staff to begin work in the area where the new wing of GNLISSA will be erected 8600m2 7 additional floors, 84 beds will be added to the existing budget of € 14,000,000.
