The arrest of a man, who was charged with domestic violence, violating personal data, drugs and arms laws, was proceeded with police in Pyrgos following a complaint by his wife.

In particular, according to Police, the woman went to the Pyrgos Police Department’s domestic violence office and complained that her husband was practicing verbal and psychological violence.

In addition, as she complained, her husband had stored many videos on his cell phones, which depicted unknown faces in public places, and during their intake there was a focus on the body of the person, unknowingly.

The complainant also handed over to police firearms, cartridges, drugs and computers of her husband, which were seized.

Specifically, the complainant handed over a pistol with a magazine containing 10 cartridges, a 223 cartridge magazine, 223 cartridges and 42.5 grams of hemp that found in packaging and in a cannon box, as well as a laptop.

The detainee was taken to the Public Prosecutor of Ilia, while, according to police, the woman was informed and given the opportunity to install the “Panic Button” digital application on her mobile phone, transferring her to psychosocial support and assistance structure, or in a safe space,
