In prison, a 43 -year -old accused of assassinated the murder of 59 -year -old cafeteria owner, Dimitris Tsadima, a father of three, is being brought to prisons.
His apology before the judicial authorities lasted about 3.5 hours, with justice officials judging that there were reasons for his temporary detention.
The 43 -year -old was taken to Lamia Courts shortly before 10:00 am, accompanied by a strong police force, as friends and relatives of the 59 -year -old Dimitris Tsadima had gathered early to express their anger, their sadness and indignation.
Silent throughout his transfer, the defendant avoided answering any journalists’ question.
However, on his way out of the courthouse, he fell “sorry for everything, I regret it …”.
‘He didn’t want to kill him’
Defendant lawyer Panagiotis Kyriakou, who was appointed by the Justice on his own, confirmed that The accused accepts his actionshowever, it differentiates his attitude towards motivation and intention.
As he argued, the 43 -year -old “had no homicide intent but led to extreme reactionafter a verbal confrontation with the victim, “because” with what he had conveyed to him, the victim is alleged to have spread defamatory comments about himself and his mother. “
In his defensive line, the accused went to the cafe to ask for explanations and followed a strong blatant litigation, which turned into a clash. Then – as it was said – the victim allegedly fell on the floor and the 43 -year -old, “in amok state”, was fatally injured with a knife.
His lawyer also said that his client “repeatedly apologized to the investigator”, declaring remorse for his act.
