The holy joke He is bishop of the ancient Church of Durres. He lived during the times of Roman Emperor Trajan (98–117 AD) and was distinguished for his piety, wisdom and bravery in faith.
As you preach Christ and reinforced the faithful in a time of harsh persecution, he was arrested by the governor of the area, Agarine, and led to interrogation. Despite the torture he was subjected to – strikes, imprisonment and eventually crucifixion – he never denied his faith. His witness to the ending came with his crucifixion on the Coast of the Adriatic, where according to tradition he received the Stefanos of eternal life.
The Holy Function is honored as a model of bishop and witness, and is considered a patron of the Church of Albania.
The Saint Satyr It is one of the early Christians who testified of their faith in Jesus Christ. He lived in the times of the first persecutions and remained steadfast in the face of the torture and threats he had to deny Christ.
His precise origin and elements of his life remain unclear, but the Church rescues the testimony of his confession and honors him as one of the anonymous but sacred heroes of faith, who, by their sacrifice, founded the Christian Church.
