At 18,000 the number of signatures, out of a total of 25,000 required, for the Conduct a referendum to regenerate the TIFwith the Referendum Organizing Committee accelerating rhythms to achieve the desired goal until September.
In an interview with the offices of the Organizing Committee, where citizens who are interested can sign the project, the positions for the Creating a public, large metropolitan parkwith the stay and reuse of eleven historical buildings that will host small exhibitions, such as the book exhibition and the transfer of large exhibitions, e.g. Agrotica, Zootechnia in Sindos.
As it has been said, “Sindos Theme has been studied and costly” and “informal discussions” with DIPAE have taken place.
“Let’s envision another Thessaloniki, we insist on the collection of signatures and we will go to the end for the referendum,” they said. They noted that with the prime minister’s recent statements “he collapsed a plan that was irrational and anti-ecological” and released a photorealist with the TIF as a metropolitan park.
The press conference was spoken by the municipal councilors of the “Thessaloniki for All” faction Michalis Tremopoulos and Ria Kalfakakou, the architect, Dimitris Kontaxakis and the former Deputy Mayor of Boutari, Nikos Fotiou.
