Massive mobilization in pier 2 and 3 of Piraeus, where he was to sail a ship carrying a military steel with a final destination to Haifa, was carried out by COSCO port workers with their club, ENEDEP, Piraeus Labor Center, Associations and Bodies.
The object of the mobilization was to prevent the unloading of military cargo by the ship “Ever Golden”, which – according to the union – transports military steel with a final destination in Israel.
As it became known, the war material “intended to be used to continue the slaughter in the Gaza Strip” has been downloaded by “Ever Golden” to another ship, which is expected to sail to Piraeus on Wednesday night.
A new mobilization will take place on Wednesday night, when the ship “Cosco Shipping Pisces” is coming, which appears to have been loaded with 5 steel containers for military use.
The mass mobilization ended with the slogan “Your port workers sign it, with the peoples their blood their hands do not dye”.
“No involvement of the country and the port in the wars of the imperialists” was the slogan in the banner of the ENEDEP union, while in the banner of the Piraeus Labor Center, the slogan was “now unleashing Greece from the war-no political-economic-military cooperation with the state”.
