The Organized Crime Directorate was filed against 5 people (27, 31, 35, 38 and 58 years) for attempting to blackmail and threat, which took place in the western Attica region, as well as through a social networking platform.

In particular, the above are accused that-in the case-by-case-on 19-06-2025 and 19-07-2025, on the pretext of a personal affair, they attempted live, telephone and through social media, to force a 36-year-old to pay 10,000 euros, threatening the physical integrity of himself and his family, as well as his family.

According to ELAS, an investigation was followed and, after analyzing video material, the defendants were identified as perpetrators of the aforementioned offenses.

Subsequently, on the morning of Saturday, August 2, the 27 -year -old, 31 -year -old and 38 -year -old were found by police officers from the blackmailing department in a western Attica area, while the 35 -year -old is incarcerated in a penitentiary shop, who was on a prison shop.

Subsequent police investigations were arrested by the 38 -year -old, as a 39cm knife was found and seized at his home and a closed video circuit recorder, with a sum of 2,700 euros in possession.

ELAS points out that the defendants have previously been employed for a number of offenses.

The detainee, with the case file formed against him for breach of weapons legislation, was led to the competent prosecutor’s office, while at the same time submitting all the pre -trial material for the offenses of co -ordination and threat.
