On August 7 and during the Single Aid Request 2024, OPEKEPE sent an informational newsletter to all KDPs in order to address all parcels that cannot be cultivated due to natural disasters.

For the sake of uniformity, a new cultivation group was created 97.2. While there was an explicit command not to use the group 97 -an excellent occasion.

More specifically:

97.2 – NON -CULTURAL EXHIBITIONS due to natural disaster

New varieties with connection to the above crop

97201- KARLAS LAKE PARTS

97202- PLACE PARTY FROM FIRE

973-

According to all of the above, it turns out that there was a direct response to the issue that had been highlighted many times by Thessalian farmers, “that there should be a specific labeling – a recording of parcels who suffered damage from load -bearing materials so that they could be included”.

Finally, the categorization of the parcels was according to whether or not they were affected by this natural destruction in the whole or part of their extent, as well as the verification of their eligibility before the disaster is noted.

In the 1st stage, the above data was processed and analyzed so as to ascertain the eligibility of the parcels before the disaster is noted. For the parcels deemed eligible, both the vector record was carried out by the Copernicus EMS service and all the images before and after the flood.

Based on all of the above, a large number of 5891 pieces were examined and 6.08% of them were found to be non -eligible before the disaster, while the evaluation of the remaining 71.06% of arable crops and 6.16 permanent crops, was detected at 16.70%.

Therefore, the JMD was issued for the granting of de Minimis aid in the field of agricultural products and in particular for the support of the producers of the Regional Units of Karditsa, Larissa, Magnesia, Trikala and Fthiotida in the context of the implementation of Regulation (EU) no. 2013/1408 (L352/9 18.12.2013), as applicable.
