A victim of a telephone fraud with the bay of the traffic accident fell another old woman, a 76 -year -old in Imathia, with the perpetrators raising her 12,700 euros and high value jewelry.
The case was resolved after an investigation by the police officers of the Alexandria Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Department and a case was filed against a 57 -year -old domestic.
In particular, on the afternoon of August 7, 2025, a 57 -year -old’s accomplice phoned her elderly pretending to be her daughter. She claimed to be in the hospital and then another accomplice who represented her doctor asked for money and jewelry.
In addition, a third accomplice was referring to the police officer on the phone to persuade the elderly to hand them over what he had valuable.
In this way they managed to get a € 12,700 money from the elderly and 10,000 euros worth of jewelry, according to a statement, which was subsequently received by the 57 -year -old.
Police investigation is continuing both to identify the 57 -year -old’s associates and for their participation in other similar criminal offenses.
The case file against her will be submitted to the Prosecutor of Veria.
