Residents, professionals and drivers who pass through Caesarea should be patience because of the traffic regulations announced and will last for five yearsuntil 2030.

The reason for the work being carried out for the delivery of the “Kaisariani” station of the Metro, a project that is expected to give – among many other areas – to Caesarea.

As reported yesterday, traffic regulations came into force today, September 1st and will last up to the September 1, 2030. During this time, 24 hours a day, work requires:

  • The gradual limitation of the width of the pavement of Vas. Alexander Avenue minimum wide of about 6.00 m and about 45.00 m after its contribution to Ymittos Avenue occupying the left side of the pavement at the time of the traffic.
  • The total blockade of the road of Alexandrou Avenue and in its section from National Antistaseos Avenue and about 45.00 m long and about 25.00 m.
  • The designation as the impasse of Vas. Alexandrou Avenue from its contribution to Ymittos Avenue and to the construction site, from Damarareos Street from its contribution to National Antistaseos Avenue and Chrysostomou Smyrniou Street and to the site of the Ergos and the Division of the Division.
  • Determining the speed maximum of 30 km/h for vehicles moving in the project area.

ELAS pleads with the drivers “of the vehicles to be particularly careful when crossing the work points and to follow the existing road signage”.
