Six Brazilian pizzerias are in ranking of best pizzas in the world; See which are

The 50 Top Pizza International Guide released ranking with the world’s best best pizzerias this Monday (8). Six Brazilian houses entered the list, one more than in 2024. Leggera, André Guidon’s restaurant in São Paulo, won 3rd position.

Then appears iron and flour (31st), by Sei Shiroma, the only representative of Rio de Janeiro.

QT Pizza Bar (36th), by Matheus Ramos, and the Pizza da Mooca (36º), chef Fellipe Zanuto, divide the 36th position. Following is Naldo Silva’s Unique Pizzeria (50th) and Veridiana (96th), founded by Roberto Loscalzo. They are all in the state capital.

Created in Italy, in 2017, the 50 Top Pizza selection evaluates the quality of pizza (pasta, sauce, combination of ingredients and origin of products), service and customer reception in the establishment.

This year, the first place was divided by the Italian I Masanielli, from Francesco Martucci, and by Una Pizza Napoletana, from New York. The Japanese The Pizza Bar On 38th, located in Tokyo, took second place.

André Guidon’s house rigorously follows the Neapolitan traditions. There, the pizzas are individual, without making coverage half to half. The thin pasta takes only Italian flour, water, fresh yeast and salt, while tomato sauce is produced with the San Marzano variety, cultivated in the volcanic soils of the Campania region, where Naples is. Margherita Verace is among the most requested options ($ 69).

The Pizza da Mooca

Fellipe Zanuto’s award -winning Napolitan house reached the third unit this year in Vila Mariana – which joins the original, in Mooca, and Pinheiros. Stock pizza brings together Spanish swine, tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, purple onion, crispy basil and honey (R $ 74 to individual, R $ 96 a large). Another option is Amatriciana, with tomato sauce, pancetta, purple onion, tomato, basil and grated money (R $ 76 and R $ 98).

Qt pizza bar

From Pizzaiolo Matheus Ramos, it is a modern -style pizzeria that mixes industrial elements with more rustic finishes.
