For the seventh consecutive year, the Professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, George Karagiannidis, is included in the list of the most influential scientists in the world, for the year 2021.

The list of Distinguished Researchers, entitled “Highly Cited Researchers”, is published by the internationally recognized organization “Clarivate Analytics”. The list is based on data from the most reliable research database “Web of Science” and this year includes a total of 6,600 scientists, out of the approximately 9,000,000 researchers who are active worldwide with the highest impact of their work in the last 10 years.
