The proposed new composition of the ESA

The proposal of the Ministry of Sports for the new composition of the Professional Sports Committee is being discussed today in the Parliamentary Committee on Institutions and Transparency. It is proposed that Nikolaos Tzoulakis, a retired senior judicial officer, remain as president, with Christos Koumbis, a retired senior judicial officer, as his deputy.

Aristea Sinanioti, Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Piraeus, is nominated as Vice President, with Charalambos Tsiliotis, Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law, Public International Law and European Union Law at the University of the Peloponnese.

The following are proposed as members of the new ESA:

* Spyridon Tsantinis, with Christos Kapetanos as deputy, both lawyers at the Supreme Court with specialization and experience in corporate law.

* Nikolaos Gerakaris, with Evangelia Papandreou as deputy, both lawyers at the Supreme Court with specialization and experience in sports law.

* Elias Arkoudis, with Ioannis Panopoulos as deputy, both economics graduates and holders of a license to practice economics at the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

* Ioannis Rallis, retired private sector, former international basketball referee, with Ioannis Batsilas, lawyer at the Supreme Court with experience in the field of sports.

* Michael Kouretas, current international water polo referee, with Emmanuel Miaris, lawyer and former football referee, as his deputy.
