It was investigated, after a methodical investigation by police officers of the Property Crimes Department of the Security Directorate Thessalonikicase theft of valuables particularly high value from domestic helperwhich and was arrested.
This is a 44-year-old foreigner, against whom a case was filed for a distinguished case of theft.
In particular, as it emerged from the police investigation, the 44-year-old during the period from October 2021 until 02-04-2022, working as a domestic helper in the home of a 55-year-old Greek woman in his area Panorama of Thessalonikiremoved partial jewels and sums of money with a total value of approximately 133,000 euros.
Yesterday at noon (02-04-2022) a coordinated operation took place during which the 44-year-old was arrested, during her departure from the above house, in possession of a sum of money and a pair of earrings made of platinum, which as it turned out she had removed earlier from that house.
During a search that followed at her home, in the area of Ampelokipi, part of the removed jewelry was found and confiscated, which were returned to the victim.
The arrested person will be taken to the Prosecutor of the Criminal Court of Thessaloniki.
