A large quantity of drugs was found in a warehouse in Markopoulo during a operation held on Sunday, September 28th, by the St. Panteleimon Criminal Criminal Department in collaboration with the DIAS St. Panteleimon.
In particular, police found:
- 22 kg and 781 grams of raw cannabis,
- 2 precision electronic scales,
- numerous cannabis seeds and
- Numerous nylon packaging for the purpose of packaging quantities and further trafficking in the Attica basin.
As it became known by ELAS, it was preceded by a well -founded DIAS Police Information, which is active in the area of Agios Panteleimonas, regarding the existence of a warehouse in Markopoulo, where large quantities of raw cannabis are stored in order to handle them.
The detection of the warehouse was the result of investigating the original information, analysis and crossing of new information as well as physical surveillance and verification of spaces designed and organized by police officers from the St. Panteleimon Crimes.
During the operation he was found inside the warehouse and a 41 -year -old alien was arrested for violating the law on addictive substances.
The detainee was taken to the competent prosecutor.
