Trial activation of the whole siren Civil Defense Alarm across the country will take place today Wednesday, October 1st, as part of the military Exercise “PARMENION-25”as announced by ELAS.

As noted by ELAS, activating the political defense alarm sirens has a purely test purpose and therefore there is no reason to confuse or concern the public.

At the same time as the sound of the alarm sirens, a sound of the bells of the Holy Temples of the Territory will take place with a series of short bells at a rapid pace of three (3 ′) minutes.

In detail the sirens will sound as follows:

  • Local time 11:05, alert end mark, for a duration of (60) seconds (continuous sound of constant intensity) throughout the Territory,
  • Local Time 11:10, Air Alarm Alarm mark, for (60) seconds in the northeast,
  • Local time 11:15, alert end mark, for a period of (60) seconds in the northeast,
  • Local Time 11:20, Aviation Alarm Alarm mark, for a (60) seconds in the southern sector,
  • Local time 11:25, alert end mark, for a (60) second -time duration in the southern sector,
  • Local Time 11:30, Signaling of Warning Alarm Threat, for a period of (120) seconds throughout the Territory,
  • Local Time 11:35, Alarm Signation, for a period of (60) seconds in the whole of the territory,
  • Local Time 12:20, Mark Warning Alarm Threat, for a period of (120) seconds in the western sector,
  • Local Time 12:25, Alert Signation, for a duration of (60) seconds in the western sector,
  • Local Time 12:30, HBP of Alarm Alarm, for a period of (120) seconds in the central sector,
  • Local Time 12:35, Alert Signation, for a period of (60) seconds in the central sector,
  • Local Time 12:40, HBP of Alarm Alarm, for a period of (120) seconds in the Attica Region and the Regional Unit of Thessaloniki,
