Handcuffs on an alien man for abuse of a minor of his daughter passed the executives of EL.AS. in Nea Smyrni.
The 10-year-old had signs of abuse on her hands, back and genitals, with the police arresting her father, who, as it turned out, had been beating the girl for years and he was harassing him. According to information, the man allegedly burned the child’s hands in the eye of the kitchen as a punishment every time he resisted.
The little girl reported to the police what the 47-year-old did to him, while her sexual abuse has been confirmed by a medical examiner.
A person close to the father reported the incident to the Police and an investigation was launched by the Security Department of Nea Smyrni and then by the office of domestic violence in Omonia. The little girl was living alone with the perpetrator, as her mother had left the house.
A case was filed against the arrested person and he will be taken to the Prosecutor, while special care will be taken for the protection of the child.
After his recovery, the child is expected to be led to the “Child’s Smile” in order to be able to stand on his own two feet and overcome all the suffering he has suffered.
