Craft beers rock the SP weekend at festivals with dozens of labels

by

Craft beers, food and live outdoor music set the tone for two brewing events taking place this weekend in São Paulo.

The Tarantino brewery, a mix of bar and factory in the north, invites another 23 artisanal producers from São Paulo to a festival on Saturday, the 9th, and on Sunday, the 10th. Labels from brands such as Avós, Croma, Dogma, Van der Ale, Vortex and Wot, among others.

The bar, in the Limão neighborhood, has outdoor space with beach chairs and even a small basketball court. This is where concerts will also take place — on Saturday, the music is provided by the rock band Colônia Cratera, while, on Sunday, it is the turn of Charanga do França, a group known for parading in the São Paulo street carnival.

On the gastronomic side, there will be restaurants Carburadores, specializing in roasted meats, the vegetarian Haya Falafel and Massa na Caveira, with a pizza menu.

To consume drinks on site, you will need to buy a glass at the event for R$ 5. Visitors must also present proof of complete vaccination against Covid-19.

In another corner of the city, on the west side, the terrace of the Jardim Pamplona mall will host a similar festival, with beers from ten brands. Baden Baden, Madalena, Insana and Mea Culpa will be some of the labels present.

The space will also have live music. The singer Bruna Thielle will kick off the event, with a show at 7pm this Friday, the 8th. On Saturday (9th), cover bands by Alanis Morissette and Pearl Jam will take the stage. On Sunday (10), it will be the turn of a tribute to the band Queen and a presentation by the group Feira Elétrica, which plays Brazilian music.

To eat, there are different dining options on the mall’s terrace, such as Timo Cucina and Paris 6, in an area that overlooks the city, with tables, plants and wooden benches.

Entrance to both festivals is free.
