They were hiding drugs inside stuffed dolls and trafficked them with parcels or envelopes which were mailed to various European countries but also to Greece. They are three members of a criminal group, two men and a woman (34, 26 and 23 years old respectively), who were arrested in Thessaloniki and a case was filed against them, with which led to the prosecutor.

The plot of the case began to unfold, when last March they were located at the airport “Macedonia” of Thessaloniki postal packages containing, each, a teddy bear, containing quantities of 24.70 grams of cocaine and 60 grams of cannabis.

According to the police, from the following investigation, another twenty parcels – envelopes, which were to be sent to various European cities, were found in the branches of parcel companies. Inside, a total of 121 grams of cocaine, 202 grams of cannabis, a quantity of methamphetamine and drug tablets were found carefully hidden in various packages.

The countdown to the arrest of the traffickers had begun and searches of their homes confiscated the following items / equipment in addition to drugs: a metal drug standard matrix, six precision electronic scales, aluminum packages that were airtight packed, heat sealing, air removal and sealing devices, label printer, post barcode labels, mail envelopes, plush dolls, etc.

The amount of 2115 euros was also confiscated, as well as an electric skate, which is said to be used for transportation during the delivery of postal parcels.
