A 27-year-old Albanian man was arrested yesterday, Tuesday 12 April, in an area of West Attica, by police officers of the Attica Security Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors, accused of rape 17 years old.
According to police, the foreigner is accused that, after meeting the minor, through social media applications, last Monday night, April 11, he drove her to his house, where he raped her. According to information, the 27-year-old made an appointment with the 17-year-old via Instagram. When they were found, he drove her home and turned on the TV.
The 17-year-old made a complaint to ELAS and the pre-investigation investigation of the Juvenile Protection Sub-Directorate confirmed the full details of the accused. He was then located and arrested.
According to police sources, the 27-year-old had recently been released from a detention center, where he was serving a sentence for a drug case.
The arrested person, with the case file against him, is going to be taken to the Athens Public Prosecutor’s Office.
