“The suspension of application of article 24 of law 4865/2021 (A ‘238), on the compulsory vaccination against coronavirus COVID-19 of all natural persons who have their residence or habitual residence within the Greek Territory and have been born up to and on 31.12.1961, for the period from 15.4.2022 until 30.9.2022 “, is mentioned in the ministerial decision.
The measure will be reviewed from September and based on the then epidemiological picture in the country.
THE Minister of Health, Thanos Plevris yesterday left open the possibility of write off the fines already imposed in the event that these citizens choose to be vaccinated. He added, however, that this is a thought that has fallen on the table and not a decision.
Right now that fine applies up to the amount of 300 euros corresponding to April 15 will be collected normally.

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Taking into consideration:
1. The provisions:
a) Article 24 of Law 4865/2021 “Establishment and organization of a legal entity under private law under the name” National Central Authority for Health Procurement “, strategy for central procurement of health products and services and other urgent provisions for public health and social welfare” (A ‘238) and especially of circumstance d) of par. 7 thereof,
b) of Law 4622/2019 “Staff State: organization, operation and transparency of the Government, governmental bodies and the central public administration” (A ‘133) and especially of circumstance 22 of article 119, in combination with article 90 of the Code of Legislation for the Government and the governmental bodies (p.d. 63/2005, A ’98),
c) of p.d. 121/2017 “Organization of the Ministry of Health” (A ‘148),
d) of p.d. 68/2021 “Appointment of Ministers, Deputy Ministers and Undersecretaries” (A ‘155).
2. 3. The joint decision of the Ministers of Finance, Health and State and the Commander of the Independent Public Revenue Authority under the elements of GP.oik.7586 / 7.2.2022 “Determining the procedure for determining the liable persons and imposing the administrative fine of par. 4 of article 24 of law 4865/2021 (A ‘238) “(B’ 608).
