Payments week: Breath to households and businesses to be exact

New meeting on the national approach to energy

Moreover, the Prime Minister himself for the umpteenth time from Crete clarified that even if there is no intervention at European level for a common solution, the solution will be given at national level, acknowledging the suffocation caused by households and businesses by energy price increases.

He explained, however, that the final decisions depend on the corresponding European ones, which in turn are expected to be influenced by the outcome of the French elections.

In addition, in May, the Ministry of Finance expects decision of the Commission for the fiscal policy of 2023 and depending on the course of the deficit, the margins for further fiscal interventions will be formed.
