Catamine and other drugs trafficking ring dismantled in Chalkida – Video and photos

Large circuit that trafficked drugs and anabolic substances between them and ketamine which has been hotly debated lately as it is considered as the substance responsible for its unjust loss little Georginadismembered by men of the security department of Chalkida.

According to ELAS, parcels were found that had been sent to a foreign country, specifically to the USA, members of the circuit that contained, among other things, more than 500 grams of ketamine and 248 Ecstasy tablets.

In our country were confiscated more than 880 grams of hempa variety of drug tablets and illegal anabolic steroids.

The circuit is said to have developed international co-operation as a police investigation revealed that quantities had been trafficked since last February. drugs and illicit anabolic steroidswhich were placed in parcels and mailed to various foreign countries, in order to obtain illegal economic benefit.

Specifically, last February and April, a total of five parcels posted by members of the circuit, containing drug tablets, were confiscated by foreign police authorities, including:

-more than 500 grams of the drug substance Ketamine
-over 248 Ecstasy tablets

In addition, the Security Department of Chalkida confiscated 10 more parcels from the post office that were sent by the perpetrators to various foreign countries and contained a variety of illegal anabolic substances, in the form of tablets, liquids and injections, which were sent to the National Medicines Agency. (EOF), to be examined in the laboratory.

During yesterday’s coordinated police operation, lawful searches were carried out in the homes and health stores of those arrested, where a total of were found and confiscated:

A parcel was sent in which a digital satellite decoder device was found, which after being dismantled was found to contain, carefully hidden:

• 120 drug tablets,
• 885.4 grams of raw hemp,
• 141 drug tablets (including ecstasy)
• 1 gram of ecstasy, in crystalline form,
• 184 anabolic tablets,
• 82 vials of anabolic substances,
• 8 syringes containing anabolic substance,
• 3 electronic precision scales,
• 700 euros and 5 telephones,
• car and various packaging materials (boxes, nylon bags, etc.)
• 2 hard disks for electronic file storage, as well as airtight packaging device.

ELAS proceeded to two arrests while another is sought.

Stakeholders face charges of setting up a criminal organization in conjunction with certain cases of drug and illicit drug trafficking abroad as well as violating sports legislation.

The pre-investigation work is carried out by the Security Department of Chalkida while the whole scope of the criminal activity of the circuit is investigated.

The arrested will be taken today to the Prosecutor’s Office of Chalkida, while the investigations and operations of the Services of the Evia Police Directorate will continue.
