The conversations on social media of 15-year-old Fotini from Peristeri, who had disappeared four days ago, were the end of the thread for the location of the girl by the police of West Attica Security and the arrest of the three accused of kidnapping a minor, as they facilitated her to leave her home and hosted her while searches were being conducted to find her.
The three arrested are a 17-year-old friend of the 15-year-old and her 42-year-old mother, who were hosting the girl at their home in Agios Panteleimon and a 22-year-old man of Albanian origin, who lived in a Roma camp in Aspropyrgos.
According to police sources, the police, in the context of the investigations, found that the 15-year-old, who left her home voluntarily, was communicating online with the 22-year-old, who was located yesterday morning and taken to the Security of West Attica.
At the suggestion of the police, the young man contacted him once again girl on Instagram and made an appointment in Agios Panteleimon square.
The 15-year-old went to the appointment, but the police were waiting for her and received her.
In the afternoon, the 42-year-old and her 17-year-old daughter were arrested, who were hosting the girl at their house in Agios Panteleimon.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the 15-year-old left her house of her own free will in Peristeri, on Holy Tuesday, 19-04-2022 and met at the Anthoupolis metro station with the 17-year-old and another minor and they went to the 17-year-old’s house.
In the evening of the same day, 15-year-old Fotini met with the 22-year-old in Aspropyrgos, they went out with friends and on Wednesday morning the young man took her to the house that was hosted in Agios Panteleimon.
After locating her, the minor was transported by EKAB station to a public hospital for medical examinations, where she remained hospitalized, while at the same time she was examined by a medical examiner.
Upon completion of the medical examinations, in the context of the preliminary investigation, specialized Officers of the Juvenile Protection Sub-Directorate, in the presence of a specialist child psychologist, examined the minor and the involvement of the above persons in the case emerged, which was reported to a competent prosecutor.
According to information from police sources, no abuse was found against the 15-year-old, however, a case was filed against the three arrested, who are being taken to the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
