Traffic regulations in various areas of Attica will proceed today Thursday (28/4) ELAS due to its conduct International Cycling Tour of Greece 2022. ELAS appeals to the drivers for their better service and to avoid additional traffic problems, to avoid the passage and parking of their vehicles on the above streets and avenues during the mentioned period of time and to follow the signals and the instructions of the traffic controllers.
The arrangements will be made on the streets of the Municipalities of Maroussi, Heraklion, Acharnes and Fili.
In particular, according to ELAS, there will be a gradual and complete cessation of traffic, as well as a ban on stopping and parking of vehicles (excluding Emergency vehicles and accompanying vehicles of the organizers) from 11:30 until the end of the race in both traffic flows:
– L. Fili in its section from the exit -6- of Attiki Odos to the height of I.M. Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
– Of the EO Tribe – Dervenochorion, from the height of the IM Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, to the borders with the NE of Boeotia.
-During the above interruption the traffic of vehicles will be diverted to the extension of Prometheus Street.
There will also be a ban of the vertical passage of vehicles on Fili Avenue, along its entire length, from 12:00 until the end of the race.
Finally, there will be a gradual and short-lived deceleration of the traffic on the road network of Attiki Odos from the height of the entrance (-12- L. Pentelis) to the exit (-6- L. Fili), in the flow of traffic to Elefsina, from at 12:00 (departure of athletes from O.A.K.A) until 12: 30 (departure of athletes to Fili Avenue).
