According to the traffic police, they will be located in the major national networks of the country patrols and police officersin order to ensure the safe movement of excursionists.
The port, as many excursionists seem to prefer to spend these days in island destinations near Athens. In fact, according to people of tourism, the reservations that are recorded in almost all the popular island destinations are large.
An important role was played by the fact that May Day this year was postponed to Monday, May 2, thus creating another three days, which excursionists will not let go unused.

The bookings currently registered in properties suitable for a family of four in island Greece range from 70% to 93%, while in the popular mainland destinations (Kalamata, Kalampaka, Nafplio, Nafpaktos, Ioannina) ranges from 79% to 91%.
Large reservations are also recorded in the coastal suburbs of South Attica, such as Dianathe Porto Raftithe Agia Marina and the Rafina. The total cost for 3 nights for a family of four according to people of tourism, ranges from 257 € to 299 € for homes from 47sqm to 65sqm.
At the same time, those excursionists who were late to make a reservation for the three days of May Day and wish to escape from the major urban centers but at the same time do not want to spend more than € 300 for the total overnight stay, can choose destinations in mainland Greece in the Peloponnese , in Halkidiki if they live in Thessaloniki, but also in Evia.
Evia, a nearby destination for Athenians, has many options for all budgets. In Edipsos a house of 30sqm is rented for 167 €, in Pefki a house of 37sqm for 171 € and in Amarynthos, a house of 135sqm is rented for 245 € for three nights.
As for destinations in the Peloponnese that are away from Athens from 1 to 3 hours by car such as N.Korinthia, the cost of renting a house of 45sqm in Lechaio is 272 €, in Tolo Argolidos the cost is 257 € for a house of 115sqm, while in kilometer distance 2-2.5 hours such as Selianitika, house 43sqm is rented for 193 € for three nights and in Akrata house 50sqm is rented for 220 €. At the same time, at a distance of 2.5-3 hours, houses are available both in Kourouta, Ilia, with a total rental cost of € 250, in Arkoudi, N. Ilia, where a house of 40sqm is rented for € 159.
The residents of Thessaloniki can choose destinations in Halkidiki at a distance of 60 km to 90 km, such as Nea Potidea, Nea Moudania and Olympiada. In Nea Moudania a house of 42sqm is rented for 166 € and in Olympiada a house of 42sqm for 158 €.
