According to exclusive information of SKAI, Suleiman Soilou, known for his provocative stances against Greece, he responded negatively to the invitation. The negative answer reached the Ministry of Civil Protection on Friday night, with circles of the ministry, pointing out that the specific decision of the Turkish official was taken in the context of the increasing provocation by the neighbor, but also by the obvious signs, as they report, of introversion and isolation of Turkey.
The conference will take place Next Wednesday, May 4, Ministers of Public Order and Interior from SE Europe will participate, while the focus will be on the Ukrainian crisis, international terrorism and organized crime.
As stressed by the Minister of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos, this conference strengthens the strategy of transnational cooperation between Greece and other European countries in matters of security.
