Father Moulatsiotis- SKAI: We ask for intensive checks in churches to save souls (vid)

The Diocese of Fokida demands intensification of the controls for the coronavirus in temples and monasteries, out of love, in order to save too many souls who unfortunately do not obey the orders of the Holy Metropolis and the Metropolitan, stressed Father Nektarios Moulatsiotis Protosygrokos in SKAI.

It is reminded that the Diocese of Fokida already on 20/10 sent a letter to the police director of the area requesting that checks be made for compliance with the measures for the coronavirus in churches.

“Already the Metropolitan while he was vaccinated, the priests stuck him inside the church. All the offices were stuck. We almost died. “Some of us were hospitalized in the hospital of Agios Andreas in Patras in a bad condition due to the fact that some inside the holy temples did not observe the measures”, he described.

“The Metropolitan out of love sent circulars to the priests, to be announced to the singers, commissioners, to the Christians”, he summed up, however, stating that again some people did not discipline themselves in the measures.

According to Father Moulatsiotis, all the temples of Amfissa were closed for one Sunday as the Metropolitan decided to lockdown because almost all of Amfissa was ill.

“To think that in the catechisms, while we had several children, only two have arrived”, he pointed out, emphasizing that in any case the Metropolitan is not a police to enforce the law, that is why he asks the authorities to carry out intensive checks.

At the same time, he underlined that the non-observance of the measures of the Holy Synod is at the same time a non-observance of the measures of the State itself.

“And the police did check, but thank God all the priests and monasteries complied with the first checks,” he concluded.
