Clarifications of the measures announced – What applies to those who are not vaccinated in stores – temples. the penalties

by

Clarifications of the measures that were announced and will enter into force on Monday are given by SKAI. There are still many questions, and Giannis Kantelis answers. A typical example is the churches. The way is now open for inspections in the temples as well, but the question that arose was who will do these inspections.

THE CLARIFICATIONS OF THE MEASURES ANNOUNCED

Who will do the checks in the churches?

According to information, the audits will be carried out by ELAS and the Transparency Authority, as is done elsewhere. Of course the burden will fall on the churches themselves with the commissioners of each church doing these checks, while we are talking about the existence of a test when it is in operation. If a believer enters a candle by himself when there is no function, no one will ask him for PCR or rapid test.

What is the penalty if a believer is found without a test?

If a believer is found without a test, the penalty is the fine of 300 euros as in any other activity where someone will be indoors without being vaccinated and has not taken the necessary test – provided of course he can enter the area with a test .

When to enter a hair salon, when must the test have taken place?

The 72-hour PCR and the 48-hour rapid are valid for someone to go to a hair salon.

How will the test be performed on those over 60 without a third dose? Is the European certificate that is different from the Greek certificate canceled?

It is the most complicated issue, and the time until December 13 will be used to vaccinate those over 60 who have passed the semester with the third dose in order to solve these issues as well. The government alone can not cancel the European certificate, as then we will have the paradox that foreigners over 60, and not Greeks, enter Greece indoors. There is a possibility of legislation that will only concern the Greek certificate, but we expect until December 13 whether there will be a joint European decision.

What about the opening hours of the stores and which areas it concerns?

It will not concern the whole of Greece. During the weekend with the publication of the Official Gazette we will learn all the areas. It is a given that the new schedule will concern the major urban centers Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Larissa. No one will be able to open before 10 in the morning, at 8 o’clock the operation will be until 6 in the afternoon, or until 9 in the evening with extended hours, and the shops will be open only during these hours.
