An alarm was sounded earlier on Saturday morning, after the body of a man was located, near Lambeti, in the municipality of Pyrgos, at the “Galanena” location.
According to the first information of Patrisnews, the body, which was found, in a farm vehicle, in a steep area, belongs to a 55-year-old man and is charred.
EL.AS forces are at the scene, as well as the medical examiner of Patras, Andreas Gotsis.
The 55-year-old was a well-known and beloved person in the area. He was not married, nor did he have a family of his own. Every night he used to go to his sister for dinner. Every night except yesterday.
Until this morning, and after he had not shown signs of life, his relatives started looking for him. One of the first places they searched, was his field, in the place “Galenena”, at a distance of 5 km from his house. There they saw the horrible reality.
Their loved one was dead, charred, in the passenger seat of his farm vehicle. Next to him they found a judge.
They immediately notified the police, who are investigating the circumstances of the 55-year-old’s death, with the suicide scenario being the most probable.
