This is the first statement of the mother and father of the unfortunate Caroline, who was murdered by Babis Anagnostopoulos and is transferred by a man from the very close family environment, transmits to TheNewspaper.gr, after the verdict of the Court.
Babi Anagnostopoulos was unanimously not granted any mitigation for the murder of his wife, Caroline Krauts, in their house in Glyka Nera, in the early hours of May 11, 2021.
The prosecutor proposed that the sentence of life imprisonment be imposed on him for the murder of 20-year-old Caroline, which – as he said – there is no fairer sentence. In addition, he demanded that he be sentenced to ten years in prison for killing the family dog and another two years for misdemeanor fake deposits, as well as a fine. The judges are currently in a conference for the final sentence.
It is underlined that the court rejected the request not to take into account the testimony of Eleni Mylonopoulou, while it also rejected the allegation of a boiling of mental momentum.
