The new Skoda Fabia is already available in the Greek market

by

The new Fabia, in its fourth generation and 22 years after the model’s debut, has scored more than 4.5 million units, so it is the second most popular Skoda model after the Octavia and one of the best-sellers internationally in its category.

The new Skoda Fabia is based on the Volkswagen Group modular MQB-A0 platform and is top-notch in terms of space, with a modern design, additional improved comfort features and many advanced safety and driver assistance systems. The new model has exceeded the limit of 4 meters, at 4,108 m, significantly larger than its predecessor. The luggage compartment – which at 330 liters was already the largest in the category – has now risen to 380 liters.

Its dynamic design can be seen from the drag coefficient of Cd just 0.28 (previous generation: 0.32), creating a new record in the category. This was made possible by the use of what is known as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulation. In fact, this results in fuel savings of up to 0.2 liters per 100 km when the car is traveling at a constant speed of 120 km / h. For every kilometer driven with the blinds closed, the new Fabia emits up to five grams less CO2.

There is a choice of nine body colors for the new Skoda Fabia, with the two modern metallic colors Phoenix Orange and Graphite Gray making their debut for the brand and range, respectively. Metallic Graphite Gray and Pearl Black Magic can also be selected as contrasting colors for the roof, feather mirror covers and grille border. Rims range from 14- and 15-inch alloy wheels to 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Fabia stands out from the screen measuring up to 9.2 inches, above the center console. In addition to the entertainment / information systems, the Fabia can also be equipped with a Virtual Cockpit, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, for the first time. It is configurable, with the driver choosing from up to 5 devices, among them the Sport device, in which the tachometer is located in the center. As standard, the Fabia has an analog instrument panel and a 3.5-inch information display.

Mechanically, the new Fabia is equipped with a wide range of engines that comply with the strict Euro 6d emission standard. In Greece, however, engines with 80 PS and 110 PS are offered.

The new Skoda Fabia is already available in the Greek market with a starting price of 14,990 euros and concerns the version with the 1.0 atmospheric engine of 80 hp, which is combined with the 5-speed manual transmission. In the case of the 1.0 TSI of 110 hp, the interested party can choose between the 6-speed manual transmission and the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
