The tax officer and the two accountants accused of claiming to be a pharmacy owner were released after their apology to the 3rd Special Investigator of Thessaloniki, subject to the ban on leaving the country. “envelope” 10,000 euros to “close” his tax pending.

All three defendants, through their apologies, denied the criminal acts attributed to them, of forming and joining a criminal organization, of bribery and bribery of an employee, and of extortion by threat.
More specifically, the two accountants allegedly claimed that the money received was related to the remuneration of their office, denying any accusation. They reportedly said that “it was an unfortunate way to get their pay, but in no way did it have anything to do with bribery, much less extortion.”
For her part, the tax officer, who serves in the Thessaloniki Tax Office, allegedly claimed that she had absolutely nothing to do with the management of the complainant’s file and in turn denied all the accusations.
However, prosecutorial sources stated that the investigations of the prosecuting authorities will continue for their possible involvement in similar cases, as well as the possible involvement of other persons. The reference to the announcement of EL.AS is typical. that “investigations to fully verify the illegal activity of the criminal organization, as well as the participation in it and other individuals, continue”.
