Citizens seem to appreciate the visit of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the USA, as highlighted in the ALCO poll.
The OPEN poll states that when asked if “the Mitsotaki-Blinken meeting and the speech in Congress help a lot, a lot, a little, or not at all, the country’s security”, the citizens answer 30% “enough”, 16% “a lot” and 14% “a little”.
In this climate, New Democracy precedes with a percentage of 31.1% against 22.6% of SYRIZA with the ruling party up 0.5% from the previous Alco poll and the main opposition up 0.1%. Third is PASOK-KINAL which gathers 12.7%, fourth is the KKE with 5.3% and fifth is the Hellenic Solution with 4.6%. MERA25 also seems to be entering Parliament as it records a percentage of 3.5%.
At the same time, according to the findings of the poll, the citizens’ concern for accuracy and especially for the prices of fuel and electricity is recorded, with 42% of the respondents stating that in recent months their family has “significantly” reduced the consumption of basic goods and 17% “a lot”.
