The president of SYRIZA asked Mr. Mitsotakis to announce the date of the elections from now on, to appoint an acting Minister of Interior, to put the ESEP in a permanent meeting and to ensure equal coverage of all parties in the media
In the face of the accumulated deadlocks he created, Mr. Mitsotakis, apparently, decided to escape with elections, said speaking to the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras.
“His decision is welcome. This is not the first time this has happened to a right-wing government. However, this is the first time that no excuse is sought in a national issue, but in the political climate and especially in the opposition “, commented Mr. Tsipras and added:
“We call on Mr. Mitsotakis to get serious. The country is facing a double crisis, social and geopolitical, and must manage them with national responsibility, as long as he is still the prime minister. If he really wants a climate of political culture and understanding, especially on major national issues, we invite him in the process. to the elections to do the following:
1) To announce the date of the elections from now on in September
2) To appoint a caretaker Minister of the Interior from now on in order for the country to go smoothly on the way to the elections.
3) To put in Permanent meeting of the National Council on Foreign Policyso that all political forces are fully aware of the developments in our national issues throughout the pre-election period.
4) To establish the competent authority immediately cross-party committee and impose democratic rules equal coverage of the parties in the Media on the way to the elections.
“Double impasse”
Referring to issues of political turmoil, the president of SYRIZA noted: “The country has been led to a double impasse. On the one hand, conditions of social crisis are being formed with the frightening rise of inflation and the contraction of incomes. On the other hand, for the first time there is so much insecurity and so much tension in our relationship with Turkey.
The Mitsotakis government, having failed to adequately deal with the health crisis, is proving incapable of now dealing with the energy crisis and the accuracy crisis. Mitsotaki precision, a precision with a clear class content and orientation, serves the few and the powerful, targets the world of work, the weakest and the middle class. Through her actions and turning her back on scandal, she multiplied the effects of the energy crisis.

Instead of a serious increase in wages, equivalent to inflation and drastic measures as other countries take to reduce prices on fuel and electricity bills, Mr. Mitsotakis with insufficient bonuses, which evaporate from the constant increases before they well reach the pockets of citizens, it only manages to subsidize the filthy profits in energy and fuel that is moving to a negative record across Europe.
The one who blamed SYRIZA for the benefits during the difficult years of his rule, is now trying to reverse his collapse with insufficient benefits. He is not interested in supporting the citizens against the tsunami of accuracy, but only in fooling them with bonuses with an expiration date of the early elections that he is planning.
