The Minister underlined the Greek contribution, stressing that Greece, from the first moment, was on Ukraine’s side.
The working dinner of the Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine was attended yesterday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendiasrepresenting Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The Conference is attended by Heads of State, Government and Ministers from approximately 40 countries as well as representatives from international organizations.
The Minister underlined the Greek contribution, stressing that Greece, from the first moment, was on Ukraine’s side.
He added that our country will be present in the reconstruction of the country with the aim of ensuring the functionality of the state
On the sidelines of the Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs held a meeting with the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis.

Mr. Cassis expressed his satisfaction for Greece’s participation in the reconstruction of Ukraine as well as for the support of the relevant Swiss initiative.
It is noted that Greece has already offered bilaterally around 2 million euros in humanitarian aids, while continuing to contribute through the relevant EU programs.
Mr. Dendias also met with Croatian counterpart, Gordan Grlić-Radman with whom he discussed, in addition to the situation in Ukraine, the developments in the Western Balkans, where once again there was a convergence of views regarding the European perspective of the region in question.
Mr. Dendias met with His Danish counterpart, Jeppe Kofod. The Foreign Minister sympathized with his Danish counterpart for the recent criminal incident in the shopping center of Copenhagen.
On the occasion of Denmark’s accession to CSDP, they briefly discussed the issue of Finland’s and Sweden’s impending accession to NATO, as well as the security challenges faced by these two countries.
In addition, Mr. Dendias extended an invitation to the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands, Mrs. Liesje Schreinemacher, to visit Athens in order to discuss bilateral trade issues, as well as the transfer of know-how in development policy issues.
Finally, the Foreign Minister had his first meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liechtenstein, Mrs. Dominique Hassler. The discussion focused on the strengthening of bilateral relations and also on the Greek candidacy for the UN Security Council
