“The Authority for Ensuring the Privacy of Communications (ADAE) states that the audit concerning the complaint of the President of PASOK-KINAL, Mr. Nikos Androulakis, has already yielded the first findings, is ongoing and will continue for the full and comprehensive investigation of the case, in the framework of the competences of the ADAE.
“It is recalled that the ADAE is the pre-eminently competent authority based on the Constitution itself (Article 19 §2) for ensuring the fundamental and absolutely inviolable right to confidentiality and privacy of communications, without which there is no rule of law and democratic Life.
“Finally, it is ready to competently submit specific proposals, some of which have already been reflected in its annual reports to the Hellenic Parliament, to improve the institutional framework and further protect the privacy of communications.”
The Public Prosecutor, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, intervened in the case a while ago.
